| The Mission of the Anaheim Amateur Figure Skating Association, (AAFSA), shall be to support and promote the amateur sport of synchronized ice skating. AAFSA provides to the public an organization where team skaters come together for the purposes of training for amateur competition and exhibition, and where all skaters may enjoy the personal, social, and athletic growth experience offered by synchronized team skating. AAFSA provides sponsorship, financial assistance, and organizational support to synchronized skating teams competing in local, national, and international competitions sanctioned by the USFSA, ISI, and International Skating Union (ISU), and to teams performing synchronized ice skating exhibitions at public events and shows. AAFSA is actively involed with engaging and providing facilities for others to become involed in the promotion of the rapidly growing sport of amateur synchronized ice skating. |
