THE SENIOR TEAM

ABOUT

This is the second year for the ICE ‘Kateer Senior team. Last year’s Pacific Coast Champions and National competitors, the 2010-2011 Senior team is comprised of 18 very accomplished and dedicated skaters. They are full time High School and College students ranging in age from 15-24 and come to us from all over the Southern California area. They practice a minimum of 6 hours a week as a team and 2 hours off ice while continuing to improve their individual skills 4 hours per week. They are lead by Kathi Pargee, John Saitta and Lia Trovati, who not only push them to perform to the best of their ability, but also try to make some wonderful ICE ‘Kateer memories along the way. This year’s most unique memory so far is learning to fence in honor of their long program music “The Man in the Iron Mask”……but the season isn’t over yet…..more great memories to come!
